I think it goes without saying that there are quite a bit of quarks that need to be worked out, but give me a break. Just for an example, how can Indiana Tech (a team which has good results last year in XC and then follows that up by sending several individuals to Nationals in Indoor/Outdoor) not even receive votes!?!?!? Oh well, everyone's running will do the talking within the next few months.

each school is responsible to send in preseason information by a certain date, if that school is to be ranked in preseason polls...none of the whac conference schools (indiana tech, cornerstone, aquinas, etc.) were ranked because the conference did not send in any information....if you look at the conference rankings you will see that the whac doesnt have any rankings up...i'm guessing this is why teams like huntington and simon fraser are not ranked

Exactly. But does that mean not other raters can rank these teams. And what a poor showing for a rater (which is a much sought after position) and the head rater, that he can't get the other raters to spend 5 minutes to do a rating. That kind of crap ticks me off.

Found out USF's coach is the rater. She better take it more seriously or the MCC is going to get screwed.

Yesterdays conference rating. 9/8/08 Mid-Central College Conference
1. Huntington University (Ind.) 2. Taylor University (Ind.) 3. Indiana Wesleyan University
I don't know what she sees in Taylor, but the conference has more than 3 teams. Bethel and Marian had a good Spring. I'm interested to see what they have coming back.
Anyone know if USF or Grace are fielding men's teams this year?
